But I’ve made my point on why I think it isn’t, and I think we can all just agree that we won’t agree on this issue and that it literally doesn’t matter at all. 2 - Yoshino Kimika - Isshoni I-ta-i in Hawaii (Japan).zip ( View Contents) 2 20:26. ok, why are you a “game of the decade?” Like hell, I didn’t like Destiny that much but it’s still way more worthy than Dark Souls or Amnesia, no offense to either of those games, but they aren’t genre defining or industry changing games.Įdit: I’m sorry I’ve struck such a cord by claiming Dark Souls isn’t the revolution of the century (because it isn’t). 1 - Sakaki Yuko - Koi no Yokan in Hollywood (Japan).zip ( View Contents) 2 20:21. But if you credit fortnite you have to credit PUBG, and if you credit dota you kinda have to credit league of legends. The only ones that make sense on that list are gta, dota, fortnite, and minecraft. not sure dota 2 should even be proud to be on it. And would you guess what kind of shock I had when people praised Outlast as the next step in horror? Yeah.
I enjoyed Amnesia, but I never got why people praise it like it's some kind of revolution in horror. For example Amnesia comes nowhere near games like Silent Hill in both storytelling and horror aspects and it came out earlier and actually inspired the devs of Amnesia to makes games (even Penumbra was somewhat inspired by Silent Hill). Storytelling-wise the witcher has no place in that convo, even in the last 10 years, if we're focused on stories alone there's stuff like pillars of eternity, or divinity, or even stuff like dear esther and amnesia (especially the justine campaign), i just don't see how W3 comes close to those having played all of them. i grew up on planescape torment and baldurs gate 2, the first two fallouts, half-life and shit like that. I sometiems feel so disconnected with the current generation of gamers.
